Taylor Swift Fans Left Unimpressed Over Travis Kelce’s Sign on Album Copies

Swifties are unhappy with Travis Kelce’s sign on Taylor Swift’s album. Fans were happy to receive their signed copies of The Life of a Showgirl. However, many did not expect a second autograph scrawled on the CDs. It turns out the second sign belongs to Swift’s fiancé.

Swifties aren’t happy with Travis Kelce’s sign on album copies

Travis Kelce’s sign on Taylor Swift’s album has displeased her fanbase. Swift is in the midst of promoting her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. And in true Taylor style, the singer has been handing out signed CDs as a souvenir and token of memorabilia to her fans.

Fans have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to express their disappointment. Swifties reveal they are fans of the pop star, not her fiancé, and believe she should keep her personal and professional lives separate.

One fan commented, “This is so random and strange. Like, Joe signing Folklore albums made sense because he CONTRIBUTED to it and signed it as WB, but Travis signing it for no reason? Like, no one is paying to have a Travis signature as big as Taylor’s on TAYLOR’S album.”

Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “AIN’T NOBODY WANT TRAVIS KELCE’S SIGNATURE.”

Another Swiftie reasoned, “Not Joe, not Travis, not anyone. I’m not going to get into a fight because this debate is ridiculous, but if I ask for a signed Taylor Swift album, it’s Taylor Swift, not Taylor Swift + her boyfriend/fiancé. I don’t care who he is—it’s not that hard to understand.”

Another Swiftie wrote, “Like, girl, I’m happy for you, but if I got my CD like this, I’d be disappointed.”

Fans online have pointed out that this isn’t the first time Swift’s partner has signed her album CDs. Back in 2020, when Folklore was released, Swift’s then-partner, Joe Alwyn, signed album CDs.

Notably, Joe Alwyn contributed as a co-songwriter and producer on Folklore. Hence, certain album copies came with both Swift’s and Alwyn’s signatures. However, in Kelce’s case, Swifties have argued that he has no direct relation to music. Therefore, it makes no sense to include his signature on the album CD.

Swifties also pointed out how hardcore NFL fans might react to spotting Swift’s signature on Chiefs’ merchandise. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 with heartwarming pictures and a caption on Instagram.
