Kevin Federline says he is worried about ex Britney Spears. In his new memoir, the DJ says the “clock is ticking” and he is fearful of a bad ending. Kevin also alleges that the pair’s sons were afraid to stay at their mom’s house. He claims that Britney would watch them sleep while holding a knife.
Britney Spears’ “situation” has Kevin Federline worried
Kevin was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007. The pair have two sons, Jayden and James.
In his upcoming autobiography, the former backup dancer claims he is worried about the singer’s well being.
In an excerpt of the book, Kevin says: “The truth is, this situation with Britney feels like it’s racing toward something irreversible. It’s become impossible to pretend everything’s OK,” per The New York Times.
He adds: “From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we’re getting close to the 11th hour. Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces.”
The book, You Thought You Knew, also makes shocking claims about the former couple’s sons time with Britney. Kevin writes: “They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — ‘Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand. Then she’d turn around and pad off without explanation.”
Kevin also questions the decision to end Britney’s conservatorship. He says: “All those people who put so much effort into that, should now put the same energy into the ‘Save Britney’ movement. Because this is no longer about freedom. It’s about survival.”
A rep for Britney has reportedly hit back at the claims made in Kevin’s book, which is out later this month.
