Kim Kardashian is finally setting the record straight on rumors that she and Travis Barker hooked up.
Quick Kardashian history lesson, incoming … Travis is married to Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian. But rumors of a potential hookup between Travis and Kim date back much further than his 2022 marriage to Kourtney. In his 2015 memoir, Travis wrote about being friends with Kim in the mid-2000s and having a crush on her. At the time, the Blink-182 drummer was dating Kim’s then-bestie, Paris Hilton.
Did Kim Kardashian and Travis Barker get together?
Now we’ve got the history session out of the way, it’s time for the tea. Speaking to Alex Cooper on this week’s episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kim firmly shut down claims that she has hooked up with Kourt’s husband, Travis.
“No, I never have,” the SKIMS founder told Alex. “And that really sucks that that has gone on.”
Explaining where the rumor came from, Kim continued: “He dated Paris, and we were all friends. We’d all hang out and when I was with Paris, we’d be on the road and go to their tour in Amsterdam.”
“So I have been friends with him, but never in that way,” Kim went on. “And [I] never hooked up with him.”
Elsewhere in the podcast, Kim pointed out that she’s not the only sibling to have a long history with Travis. “Kourtney was around during that time, they [her and Travis] were neighbors for a decade,” she said.
“He was always around with his kids, they’d always come to Kourtney’s house for birthdays,” Kim added, referring to Landon Barker, Alabama Barker, and Atiana De La Hoya. “So, everything was super open and cool, everyone’s been friends. He was just as good of friends with them as he was with all of us.”
“It was nothing weird,” she concluded.
Since getting married three years ago, Travis and Kourtney have welcomed a son, 22-month-old Rocky Thirteen. Between them, they now have seven children, and frequently share insights into their home life on social media.
