LeBron James recently offered his candid perspective on relationships during an appearance on the Everybody’s Crazy podcast. Savannah James, his wife, and her friend April McDaniel host the show. As the discussion turned to modern relationships, the NBA star reflected on his experiences. He shared what he has learned from years of conversations with teammates and friends.

Drawing from those experiences, James admitted that he has heard countless stories from teammates whose relationships ended badly. He said, “It’s some cutthroat, ruthless a** b****es out here right now, too. Listen, I sit in the locker room and s now, and it’s a lot of women out here that’s now kinda flipped the script.”

The NBA player noted that many men genuinely trying to make things work often end up questioning where they went wrong. He said, “Some homies out here trying to be good, too, trying to figure it out and now they lookin’ in the mirror saying, ‘Damn what did I do wrong?’”

However, James clarified that he was not directing his comments toward Savannah or her co-host. He said, “Homies — it ain’t you!” The four-time NBA champion and Savannah have been together since high school, tying the knot in 2013. The couple shares three children: Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri.

LeBron James’ recent comments come as he gears up for the 2025–26 NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the star player is set to miss the season’s start. The team confirmed that he has been ruled out for up to four weeks with sciatica. The 40-year-old signed a new deal with the Lakers in June. He will sit out all five games in October, including the opener against the Golden State Warriors. (via BBC)
