MrBeast has done it again and given away a real-life award to a TikTok user. The woman in question joked that she only follows the YouTuber in case someone ever asks her if she did, and that may come with a prize. This video went viral on the platform and soon reached MrBeast’s screen. The creator replied by sending her money for it.
MrBeast sent $10K to a woman who admits following him for prize money
A woman by the username @jiafeis_left_puthylipfan uploaded a TikTok video in early October talking about MrBeast. She was sipping water from a bottle, and the text on the clip said that she followed the YouTuber because it seemed smart. She did so “in case there is a reward.”
This post resonated with the audience and quickly went viral. It reached 33 million views, and users commented beneath it, tagging MrBeast. Most of them wanted to witness if the creator would have something witty to say or do about the remarks.
At the end, Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, did notice the TikTok video. He then created his own video in which the Beast Games creator was seen boarding a flight. He urged the woman to check her direct messages and revealed that he had deposited $10,000 into her account.
This continued his pattern of surprising people with enormous cash prizes, which he is very popular for. On his YouTube channel, MrBeast has given away houses, cars, and cash rewards to random people after they complete a challenge.
A lot of people appreciate his generosity, where he helps people who are in need of it, but sometimes, the challenges are subjected to criticism.
One of his most recent stunts last month drew controversy when he asked a man to be trapped in a burning room for 25 minutes. If he completed the challenge, the man would be awarded half a million dollars.
Audience dubbed this stunt as “inhumane” and “evil” and called MrBeast out for doing anything for views. However, the creator reassured the watchers that he had very tight safety measures in place during the stunt.
