Princess Eugenie and Princess Rajwa of Jordan have more in common than just their titles. During a royal visit in London this week, the pair bonded over their shared interest in art and culture.
In case you missed it, the Jordanian princess and her husband, Crown Prince Hussein, are currently on their first European tour since tying the knot in 2023. As part of their tour, the pair stopped by London, where Princess Rajwa met with the British Royal Family’s Princess Eugenie on Monday, 13th October.
Princess Eugenie led a royal visit for Princess Rajwa of Jordan
Although she’s not a full-time working royal, Princess Eugenie joined Princess Rajwa on a tour of Springfield University Hospital and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust. There, they learned about how the charity uses art in its mental health treatment.
Speaking about the visit, Princess Eugenie said on Instagram that it was an “absolute pleasure”.
“We viewed a number of artworks created as part of an initiative by the charity Hospital Rooms, which integrates art into mental health care environments,” wrote King Charles’ niece.
“Their mission is to commission leading international artists to produce permanent, high-quality works for mental health wards across the UK’s National Health Service, helping create welcoming and uplifting spaces for patients,” she continued. “Truly beautiful. Thank you for having us.”
After their tour, Princess Eugenie and Princess Rajwa headed to the Hauser & Wirth art gallery, where the former works as a director. We reckon they had plenty to talk about at the gallery, given their shared interests … Rajwa studied visual communications at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.
Back on Instagram, royal fans had plenty of positive things to say about the Princesses. “Two incredibly brilliant and gorgeous women. I love this!!” one person commented, with another writing: “To the most beautiful princesses, you are absolutely lovely!”
