Britney Spears has hit back at ex Kevin Federline following several shocking claims he made in a new book. In a scathing social media post, the singer says the “lies” in the memoir are “going straight to the bank”. She also revealed that she’s barely seen the couple’s two sons in the past five years.

Kevin Federline is currently promoting his new memoir You Thought You Knew. The book, due for release later this month, has already hit the headlines with its bold claims.
In excerpts published online, Kevin claims Britney did cocaine while breastfeeding and cheated on him with a woman. One of the most shocking accusations, though, is that the couple’s sons became afraid to stay with her as she would watch them sleep while holding a knife.
Unsurprisingly, Britney hasn’t taken too kindly to her ex-husband’s tell-all. In a social media post on Wednesday, she accused him of “constant gaslighting”. She also implied that he was using her to make money, writing: “Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here.”
The post also revealed how little time she has spent with her sons in recent years. She wrote: “They need to take responsibility for themselves. With one son only seeing me for 45 min in the past 5 years and the other with only 4 visits in the past 5 years. I have pride too. From now on I will let them know when I am available.”
Kevin previously claimed that he is speaking out as he’s concerned about Britney’s well-being. He told one publication he saw the situation as the “11th hour”, saying “the clock is ticking.”
