The all-girl group, which most recently consisted of Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, D. Woods and Shannon Bex, announced the news via Instagram on Wednesday, October 15. Via X, Dawn confirmed that she will not be participating in the tour. Danity Kane has not performed since 2020.

In a recent press release, the band stated that The Untold Chapter Tour isn’t just a concert, but a reckoning with truth behind the story. “It’s the reunion that no one thought [was] possible. With setlists reshaped, confessions revealed and moments that will never happen the same way twice, this tour promises to leave audiences shaken, inspired and forever changed.”

Diddy signed Danity Kane to his Bad Boy Records label in 2005 as part of his MTV series Making the Band. Its members have come and gone over the years, with Dawn leaving in 2008 and original member Aundrea Fimbres quitting the group in 2014.

Following Diddy’s September 2024 arrest for transportation to engage in prostitution, racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, Danity Kane members have been in the spotlight. In September 2024, Dawn filed a lawsuit against the music mogul claiming he inappropriately touched her, locked her in a car and caused her to become dehydrated and fatigued by forcing her to rehearse for up to 48 hours. At his trial she also testified that he physically abused his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Aubrey and D. Woods also have been vocal about Diddy’s past behavior.

On October 3, Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison on two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.
