According to the insider, the Schoolboy Records founder made Sweeney “a lot of promises” with helping the latter navigate her career. The insider further suggested that the duo’s relationship “morphed into something else entirely” from their initial dynamic.
The insider also shared what the Christy star’s friends thought about her relationship with the record producer. They said that her friends were “baffled” by Sweeney’s relationship with Braun. This is because she previously told them she wanted to be single for “at least a year,” after being in a relationship for years, to discover herself. Previously, the Emmy nominee was engaged to Jonathan Davino, whom she split from earlier this year.
The insider added that although Sweeney didn’t “need” Braun’s help with things related to her career, she has started consulting him on business decisions. This rumor emerges one week after Page Six reported, citing a source, that Sweeney enjoyed seeking career advice from Braun. However, the source clarified that while Sweeney “enjoys spending time” with the music mogul, a wedding wasn’t in the cards. “Her number one priority is her career,” they added.
This report also comes a few days after The Sun shared intimate details of the couple’s relationship via an insider. The insider added that the couple constantly kept in touch via phone calls, messages, and FaceTime when they were apart. “They miss each other so much when they are apart,” the insider added. “Before they go their separate ways, they hug and kiss for ages – like teenage lovers.”
In addition, the insider said the couple planned to move in together between late 2025 and early 2026.
