Kim Kardashian is removing all memories of her ex-husband as part of her massive home renovation project.
The media star paid Kanye West a reported $23 million in their divorce settlement to have the house outright and she’s taking out at least one part of the picturesque property. Her construction team have completed the west extension and are currently laying down the foundations on the east side.
Over two years on from their official divorce it appears Kim doesn’t want anything near the home reminding her of the disgraced rapper.

Over a decade ago Kim surprised Kanye for his birthday with a full-sized basketball court on their property. The rapper is in for another surprise as RadarOnline reports that the court is no more. That along with the manicured gardens are gone, the last remaining memories of Kanye at that home.
There were clues that these reported renovations were happening in an episode of The Kardashians in March. That’s when Kim told her mother Kris Jenner that she was planning the section of the house for a future boyfriend. Earlier this month Kim and Kris sued rapper Ray J for defamation. Ray J had said the pair were the subject of a federal racketeering investigation.
According to Kim these renovations mark her last opportunity to make drastic changes for her and her four kids. “I’m packing up my entire house. I’m fully remodeling and it’s not easy to do this with four kids,” said Kim.
She recently confirmed that she is single amid rumors that she and podcaster Alex Cooper were an item. Kim and Kanye were married from 2014 until 2022 and have four kids.
The exclusively gated home in Hidden Hills was bough by West in 2014 for a fee of $20 million.
