Mark Ruffalo made an interesting admission during a recent interview – he dreamt of punching Ryan Reynolds in the face. The dream came in pretty handy. He used it as inspiration for a scene in the pair’s 2022 movie The Adam Project.
Mark Ruffalo got to live out his dream of punching Ryan Reynolds for the movie
Mark starred alongside Ryan in the 2022 flick. He had to punch his co-star in the face for a scene, and he got some guidance from an unlikely source – his own subconscious.
In an interview with GQ, the actor said: “It was written that way, and we did a rehearsal. And I had a dream that that’s what the punch should look like, and I just did what I did in my dream. And we did it, and they were all laughing, and [the director’s] like, ‘Well, let’s do it again, but I think we have it.'”
He added: “But that was one of those moments where it was just like the spontaneity. And, you know, it was right there.”
Ryan Reynolds hasn’t won many fans recently following a series of eyebrow-raising appearances. He recently made controversial comments about his son making him want to get a vasectomy during an interview. And, after reportedly being rude to a child reporter on the red carpet, he is said to have gotten into a spat with Eugene Levy at the same event.
While attending the premiere of John Candy: I Like Me, the pair are said to have had a tense exchange. A lip reading expert told Radar Online that Ryan said to Eugene: “Bullsh*t, man.”
Eugene apparently replied “Language, you don’t need to speak so harsh.” Then Ryan allegedly shot back: “Please don’t ever tell me how I can talk to people.”
