He added that he has missed opportunities to play more serious or “down on their luck” characters because casting directors often associated him with certain types of roles.
Reportedly, the actor also spoke about his upcoming television series “The Beauty”, scheduled for release in 2026, describing it as a project that offers him a more complex and layered character. Kutcher said he now understands casting decisions better, emphasizing that “you’re trying to tell a story with pictures, and the pictures need to create a feeling for the audience.”
