Free Britney Movement Responds to Kevin Federline’s Requests To Reorganize and Help Britney Spears

In his bombshell new memoir, Kevin Federline calls out the Free Britney movement, accusing them of doing more harm than good. He says the people involved should now focus the same energy on making sure Britney Spears is well. Now, one of the leaders of the movement has revealed why that’s unlikely to happen.

It seems that the #FreeBritney movement may be done and dusted. The former director of communications, Pilar Vigneaux, revealed that the group is done. She told The Post: “The heads of the movement don’t meet anymore, we don’t talk anymore. We were so burned out,” per Page Six.

She added: “You have no idea how much we worked on this. We sent a press release every other week. We were reading the court documents, we were going to the court in LA. Once she was free… we just dismembered. The movement broke because half of the [leaders] thought she was really free and the other half thought she was not.”

In his recently released book, Kevin says that the #FreeBritney movement should come together again to help his seemingly troubled ex-wife Britney. The singer has posted a number of odd things to social media in recent months, including dancing with knives and posing with dog poop visible on the floor.

He writes in the memoir: “All those people who put so much effort into [#FreeBritney] should now put the same energy into the ‘Save Britney’ movement. Because this is no longer about freedom. It’s about survival.”

He continues: “I tried to understand where they were coming from but I could never fully get behind it. There were too many conspiracy theories, too many wild misunderstandings. At times, it felt more like fandom’s mob mentality than genuine concern for Britney’s well-being.”
