Lewis Capaldi can offer an ideal service for an upcoming celebrity wedding. The Scottish singer doubts he’ll make the guest list when Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift say I do, but he may have something the couple could use on the big day.
He’s one of my celebrities looking to attend the wedding in some capacity. Jimmy Fallon, Martha Stewart, Mark Ronson and Buddy Valastro are among the other big names hoping to be a part of what promises to be an extravagant wedding.
The Grammy Award nominee, though is hoping a family connection can get him on the guest list.
Lewis Capaldi will “supply the fish” for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding
Lewis has something unique to offer Travis and Taylor, and it has nothing to do with music.
The Someone You Loved singer’s father is a fishmonger, something he jokingly believes could be essential for the wedding. “My dad will supply the fish for you — the freshest fish, by the way, for your wedding,” Lewis said in a plea to Travis and Taylor on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show.
Lewis has been to some significant milestone days in Taylor’s life. He attended the Fearless singer’s 30th birthday in December 2019. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that his presence left Taylor with a great impression of him. Lewis said in 2022 that he hasn’t been invited to another Taylor birthday party since.
Earlier this month, though, Taylor praised Lewis’ music, calling it beautiful. The pair were guests on The Graham Norton Show. Scott, meanwhile, said he thinks Lewis could have a reception invite for Taylor and Travis’ wedding, but not the ceremony.
In June, it was reported that Lewis’ estimated net worth was $12 million. If his money or family connection can’t get him into the wedding, his songs and unique ability to relate to fans is a unique skill the soon-to-be-married couple may want.
