Amid all the rifts, rumors, and controversies surrounding the royal palace, Prince William is doing what he is supposed to do. He has taken up more royal responsibility now, hinting he is ready to take charge when needed. Although King Charles is doing his royal duties diligently, according to sources, the oldest son of the monarch is stepping up fast.

Prince William has always been open about the changes he wants to ensure around the palace when he takes over the reign. And it seems, he is slowly powering up and taking greater control over royal duty.

Despite this, King Charles still reads his “red boxes” every “morning.” Further, “He believes his service to the country is his calling.” The king will “keep going as long as he can,” royal insiders told #ShuterScoop

But the Prince of Wales is doing his best to protect the crown by quietly taking on more responsibility. In fact, as per sources, the decision to strip Prince Andrew of his “Duke of York” title was a joint decision of father and son to protect the institution.

However, it seems William is still not satisfied with the decision about Andrew. According to royal expert Roya Nikkhah, the father of three believes the issue remains unresolved. However, she claimed, the matter will be settled once William becomes the king.

As per The Royal Observer, Nikkhah feels, “When William is King, Andrew will be banned from all elements of royal life.” Andrew “will be excluded from public and private royal events, including the coronation, and banned from most state occasions.” In a way, “the next monarch will be more ruthless” in terms of protecting the institution.

This is not the first time William has hinted about change in the monarchy. He spoke about his plan of action during a recent TV appearance on “The Reluctant Traveler series with Eugene Levy.”

“I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda,” the 43-year-old confessed in the interview. “Change for good. I enjoy change; I don’t fear it.” He further added that “the idea of being able to bring some change” around “excites” him.
