Hunter Biden has not been a huge fan of Barack Obama in recent times.
The son of former US President Joe Biden took exception to one moment in particular. During a Democratic fundraiser for his father’s re-election bid last year, Hunter recalls something the former Illinois Senator did that really got on his nerves.
After chatting for a while on stage with Jimmy Kimmel, the two former Presidents got up to wave to the crowd. Joe, however, stood still for several seconds before Barack grabbed his hand and led him off stage.
“That really, really, really, really pissed me off,” said Hunter. At the time, there were plenty of rumors surrounding the physical and mental health of Hunter’s dad. Joe and Barack previously served two terms in the White House together with the former the Vice President to the latter.

Barack might have seen his gesture to his former work colleague as lending a helping hand, but Hunter didn’t appreciate the move. “I almost jumped up on the stage and said, ‘Don’t ever f*cking do that to the president of the United States again — ever,’” Hunter told news outlet Axios.
The outlet had obtained a copy of an upcoming book in which Hunter weighed in on the 2024 Presidential election between his dad and Donald Trump. A month after Barack and Joe’s moment on stage Hunter’s dad officially dropped out of the election, Before his resignation celebrities like George Clooney pushed for there to be a new Democratic candidate. Kamala Harris took his place but ultimately lost the election.
Joe is not in great condition, with the 82-year-old currently battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The ex-President recently completed a round of radiation treatment. Hunter’s brother, Beau, died from a brain tumor on May 30, 2015.
Hunter and Beau were involved in a car accident in 1972, which killed their mother, Neilia, and sister, Naomi.
