Things may be getting serious between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau.
The Hot n Cold singer and the former Prime Minister of Canada have been spotted out together before, and it looks like all that time together has blossomed into a romance. According to a source, “Katy is really into it.” That said, perhaps because of all the attention the two attract, the pop star is “trying to keep it low-key,” says the insider.
The two were first seen having dinner together in Montreal back in July. Both of them are currently separated, with Katy and Orlando Bloom reportedly separating in June. Justin, meanwhile, announced in 2023 that he and his wife Sophie Grégoire had separated.

Rumors continue to swirl about a romance between the two, but that may be all it is for a while. That’s because Katy seems keen to keep the relationship private for now. “She’s not looking to publicize this relationship,” an insider revealed to US Weekly.
There are conflicting reports about how serious their relationship is. One source claims it’s growing into something big, while another believes it “isn’t serious.” The reason it may not be serious yet is due to Katy’s demanding work schedule. She is currently on The Lifetimes Tour in support of her seventh studio album. That tour concludes in December.
As for Justin, his motivation for dating Katy could be a “midlife crisis,” according to a report. While Justin has three children, his work life may be a little less hectic than Katy’s right now. He resigned as Canadian Prime Minister earlier this year, having been in power since 2015.
Justin still intends to see her, according to rumors, when Katy has a break in between her demanding tour in a few weeks.
