Kanye West’s documentary, “In Whose Name?” was released on September 19, 2025. Nico Ballesteros, the director, documented over 3,000 hours of West’s life, portraying his struggles, relationship conflicts, moments of success, and more. Kim Kardashian, the rapper’s ex, is reportedly “terrified” that he could use private footage where he criticizes her to embarrass her.
Kim Kardashian worries about Kanye West’s ‘private footage’ stash and that he might use it, says source
The documentary, “In Whose Name?” released last month, showed moments of heated arguments between the rapper and reality TV star. And now, Kardashian is allegedly worried that West might use the “private footage stash” to humiliate her.
The documentary, which was filmed over about six years, showed clips of West yelling at his family members and colleagues as Kardashian tries to pacify him. It featured many more tense moments between the two, stirring significant controversy and backlash. Meanwhile, people are also wondering what other material West might be holding.
A source told RadarOnline, “Kim’s fully aware that Kanye still has a huge amount of private footage – hours and hours of it – and it haunts her.” The source added, “He’s hinted before that he might use it, and she’s certain there are far worse clips than what made it into the documentary.”
The source added, “She feels he’s using that as leverage to keep power over her.”
An insider claimed, “Kim feels Kanye takes satisfaction in having that kind of power. The insider further added, “It’s psychological warfare, and it’s exhausting her.”
Kim and Kanye were married for almost seven years, and she has supported him throughout. However, now the SKIMS founder feels genuinely scared, not just for herself but for her children as well. Sources say that the mother of four is worried that one day, her children might see the material.
“The idea of her children seeing their father shouting at her, or watching her fall apart on screen, is unbearable. She breaks down just thinking about it and worries about the version of events Kanye might try to create if he puts out more footage,” said a source.
