Seems like Travis Kelce‘s comparison to Jesus isn’t stopping anytime soon. For those wondering, no, the NFL player isn’t being compared to the Son of God for religious reasons. People have been getting a laugh out of the eerily similar facial features of Travis and a random Jesus Christ Mural. The fact that it happened not once but twice only adds to the hilarity of the situation. The latest episode of the New Heights podcast turned into a laughter fest with brother and co-podcaster Jason Kelce trolling Travis Kelce for his constant comparison to Jesus Christ.
Travis Kelce Jesus Christ mural lookalike spotted by fan
Travis Kelce’s Jesus-like facial features have been confirmed by two fans to date. They even sent pictures of the lookalike Jesus Christ murals to compare and support their case.
For the unversed, it all began on April 3, 2025, when a Reddit user posted a picture saying, “This church mural in my neighborhood looks oddly familiar.” The image in question was a long-haired, bearded Jesus mural with an uncanny resemblance to Travis.
Upon seeing the picture, the Chiefs’ tight end, who couldn’t stop laughing, asked, “Why? I’ve never seen Jesus look like this?” Jason replied by asking, “What, like you? Somebody painted this in your image.”
Much to everyone’s amusement, history repeated itself. One more fan has sent in a photo of a Jesus Mural with Travis Kelce-like facial features. The viral clip from the latest episode of the New Heights podcast shows the Kelce brothers laughing over the second time a fan spotted a Travis lookalike Jesus Mural.
It’s captioned, “If I had a nickel for every Jesus mural that looked like Travis, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice”.
Host Jason Kelce revealed that a fan named Samantha Kaiser spotted the lookalike mural while attending a funeral at the church. Apparently, a family member pointed out that the Jesus statue on the wall resembled Travis Kelce. Unable to ignore the stark resemblance, Samantha clicked a photo of the mural and shared it with Travis’ brother, Jason.
