Addison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, remarried after a whirlwind two-week romance, and reports suggest the TikTok star had no idea. The 49-year-old social media personality revealed that he tied the knot with medical professional Kaitlyn Nicole Robins in an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas.

Lopez confirmed that he and Kaitlyn exchanged vows on Saturday night at the Little Chapel of Hearts in Las Vegas. Speaking to TMZ, he admitted that the marriage happened quickly and without informing anyone, including his daughter. “I didn’t tell anyone,” Lopez said. “I just followed my heart, and I’ve never been happier. I love this woman.”
Monty says he has always believed in love at first sight. After meeting Kaitlyn at a bar in Louisiana, the two quickly became inseparable. One evening, when she caught him staring, he affectionately called her “my future wife.” Moments later, he proposed without a ring, and just twelve hours after the proposal, the couple tied the knot.
The TikTok sensation-turned-singer is currently touring with Charli XCX, and sources claim that she did not know of her father’s plans to remarry.
Rae’s relationship with her father, Monty, has remained strained since his split from her mother, Sheri Easterling. The couple divorced in 2022 after public cheating allegations against Monty sparked a highly publicized breakup.
Monty and Sheri married in 2004 and welcomed their daughter, Addison, the following year. They also share two sons, Enzo and Lucas. After divorcing early, the couple reconciled and remarried in 2017, just as Addison’s TikTok fame began to rise.
However, their marriage fell apart again five years later amid rumors of Monty’s infidelity. The split made headlines when Sheri appeared on the 2022 MTV VMAs red carpet with rapper Yung Gravy, sharing a kiss.
