Trigger Warning: This article discusses sexual assault, trafficking, and violence.
Virginia Giuffre met Ghislaine Maxwell through Jeffrey Epstein, the financier accused of trafficking underage girls to powerful and wealthy people. Virginia has said Ghislaine worked closely with Jeffrey, helping him find and control victims while keeping ties with powerful figures. That relationship drew Virginia into an elite world that looked glamorous on the surface. However, as she later revealed, it was built on abuse and manipulation.
In her memoir, Virginia describes that world with striking detail. She calls Ghislaine ambitious, calculating, and fixated on the power that came from knowing famous people.
Virginia died by alleged suicide in April 2025 at the age of 41. Her book, Nobody’s Girl, was released after her death and offers a blunt look at her years with Ghislaine and Jeffrey. It also includes one story that has shocked readers everywhere, involving Hollywood actor George Clooney.
Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir makes a bold claim about George Clooney and Ghislaine Maxwell

In her book, Virginia wrote that Ghislaine returned from an event full of excitement. “One [time] she came back giddy as a schoolgirl with an explosion of news, with all the build up and excitement in her voice you’d think she was the next crown princess,” Virginia wrote. “But she had given George Clooney a bl*w j*b in the bathroom at some random event. She never let that one down.”
Virginia admitted she couldn’t confirm the story’s truth. “Whether that was true or not, we’ll never know,” she wrote. Still, she said Ghislaine seemed thrilled by the story and often brought it up.
Virginia had mentioned the alleged encounter before. She first wrote about it in an unpublished book titled The Billionaire’s Playboy Club. In 2020, a New York judge unsealed parts of that manuscript, which included the same account of Ghislaine bragging about her supposed encounter with George.
Beyond the gossip, Nobody’s Girl reveals Virginia’s broader story of survival. She said Ghislaine and Jeffrey trafficked her to “a multitude of powerful men,” including businessmen, politicians, and celebrities. “Among them were a gubernatorial candidate who was soon to win an election in a Western state and a former U.S. senator,” she wrote. Prince Andrew has come under fire as one of the alleged perpetrators.
Virginia also described a horrifying assault by a political figure she called a “well-known prime minister.” “He took pleasure in seeing me fear for my life,” she wrote.
No evidence proves Ghislaine’s story about George ever happened, and he hasn’t spoken publicly about it. Still, Virginia’s book deepens her account of the world surrounding Jeffrey and the people caught in it.
