Selena Gomez Slammed by Justin Bieber Fans Over Rare Beauty Comment

In a now-deleted viral TikTok, a user seems to have added fuel to the fire of the ongoing alleged tension between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s fandoms. The TikTok included a comment from Gomez’s makeup brand, Rare Beauty, which sparked a new wave of speculation and online drama. As a result, fans are criticizing Gomez, claiming she is “obsessed” and “messy”.

Justin Bieber fans tell Selena Gomez to ‘move on’ after Rare Beauty comment

Selena Gomez’s makeup brand, Rare Beauty, commented with a heart-eyes emoji on a now-deleted TikTok, captioned, “i love @RareBeauty.” However, the video saw the user applying a Rare Beauty lip gloss with an on-screen caption that read, “POV making Justin Bieber mad with my Rare Beauty gloss.” Fans saw this and didn’t hold back, storming the comments section and slamming Gomez for it.

In reply to a post of a TikTok screenshot with Rare Beauty’s comment on X(formerly Twitter), fans seemed to interpret it as the brand mocking Bieber. One fan wrote, “Her, her family, her friends, her employees and her brand management team, they’re all obsessed. Woman MOVE ON !!!” Another fan replied, “She’s obsessed it’s not even funny.” Others claimed she just can’t seem to forget about Justin and that she needs attention.

Although most of the replies throw shade at Gomez for Rare Beauty’s comment on the post, a few users also showed her support. A few fans mentioned how Gomez does not personally handle her social media and also how all the people speculating are “losers”. This entire episode seems to have reignited tensions between the fanbases, though neither Gomez nor Bieber has publicly reacted.

While Gomez recently dropped a music video for her song “In the Dark,” Bieber’s latest venture has taken shape through Twitch streaming. Whether either of them chooses to respond or not, the fan-fueled drama shows no signs of slowing down.
