Travis Kelce Announces Post 13th NFL Season Plans

Travis Kelce might be playing his final NFL season this year, and it seems like he already has retirement plans ready. In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis made a revelation regarding a new business venture that also doubles as his retirement plan. Let’s take a look at how the NFL star plans to spend his time post-13th NFL season.

Travis Kelce talks about what he’ll do after 13th Season

In a conversation with his brother on their New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce opened up about his latest business venture. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end seems to already be preparing for his life after the NFL with various investments and businesses, and now adds to the list. This time, he invested around $200 million in Six Flags, an American amusement park company. This resulted in him owning close to 9% of the chain of amusement parks.

During the podcast, he revealed, “It came across the desk, and I could not pass this opportunity up. I’m teaming up with Jana Partners, with Six Flags and Cedar Fair. We’re going to be a part of the theme park and the amusement parks that absolutely rocked our world as kids. And hopefully, give families nowadays the fun and the memories we had and we cherished growing up.” Travis went on to express how excited he is to be a part of these theme parks as an investor. Optimistic about getting to ride the theme park rides, Travis also said to his brother, “We’re going to be riding some rides here soon, dude. You already know.”

Travis’ contract with the Chiefs ends with his 13th NFL season, but there is no confirmation of his retirement yet. While it does seem highly likely that the current season is Travis’ final one in the NFL, his theme park plans are for the off-season, he says. “As soon as the season’s over with, I’m going to go up there and hit the park. I’m going to try to get to as many as I can this offseason. Just lay my eyes on what everything Six Flags has to offer outside of just Ohio,” he shared on the podcast.
