Congrats are in order for Chris Evans and Alba Baptista as the pair just welcomed their first baby.
Although Marvel star Chris and Alba haven’t officially confirmed news of the new arrival – or the fact they were expecting, for that matter – eagle-eyed fans have picked up on enough hints to suggest as much.

According to a record obtained by TMZ, Chris and Alba welcomed their bundle of joy in the very early hours of 24th October in Massachusetts. The little one’s name and gender have also been revealed …
Per the record, the couple have named their baby girl, Alma Grace. What’s more, she’s taking both of her parents’ last names, making her full name: Alma Grace Baptista Evans.
Rumors that the Avengers actor and his wife were expecting started swirling earlier this year, in the summer. A fan account for the couple shared a Father’s Day tribute and tagged both of their dads. Luiz Baptista, Alba’s dad, actually replied to the post – and his comment gave a massive hint that the pair were about to become parents.
Addressing Chris in his comment, Luiz said: “Your turn is coming!”
Beyond that, fans haven’t had much to go off in terms of pregnancy confirmation. Although they sometimes take to social media to share a rare selfie, Chris and Alba have kept their romance relatively out of the spotlight.
The pair got married in September 2023 with a private ceremony on Cape Cod … they had only just gone Instagram official with their relationship nine months earlier. Commenting on their partnership, a friend told PEOPLE magazine that year that they’d fallen in love almost instantly.
“It was kind of love at first sight,” the insider suggested. “They got serious very quickly.”
