Donald Trump Reveals MRI Results After Medical Center Visit

President Donald Trump shared that he had an MRI scan during his visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. When asked about his results, the president made it clear that the test was perfect and exceptional for someone his age. He didn’t reveal any further details, though, referring the media to his doctors for more information.

Donald Trump says his MRI “was perfect”

The president was questioned about his MRI on Air Force One on his way to a two-week trip to Asia. He recently also flew to Israel and Egypt earlier this month, and to the United Kingdom for a state visit.

A reporter mentioned he had a scan done and asked if he could share the results.

“I did. I got an MRI,” Trump answered. “It was perfect.” What that means is left up to interpretation, as Trump often uses excessive adjectives when talking to the press.

Trump is one of the oldest presidents in US history at 79 years of age. Naturally, his health is a valid concern. He didn’t mention why he got the scan. He just said that it happened earlier this month when his physician said that the president was in “exceptional health.”

Trump went on to add that it was “some of the best reports, for the age, they’ve ever seen.” According to presidential physician Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s appointment and scan were part of a follow-up evaluation as part of his ongoing health and maintenance plan.

“The president continues to demonstrate excellent overall health,” Dr. Barbabella said. Earlier this year, Trump was diagnosed with a medical condition that causes swelling in the legs. It is said to be benign and common in older adults.

Otherwise, it appears Trump is in good health. He’s ready to visit several stops in Asia, rant about his photo for Time Magazine, continue his White House “renovation”, and focus on his plans in the coming months.
