The Skim’s mogul is currently doing the rounds to promote her new acting role, but it seems there’s only one thing people want to know about – those pubic hair thongs. In a recent interview, she revealed what led her to create the viral piece.

Kim’s underwear business has had its fair share of viral moments – from “face sculpting” wraps to bras with built-in erect nipples. And her “Ultimate Bush” thong definitely got people talking.
In a recent appearance on Radio Andy to promote her new show All’s Fair, the conversation turned to the “interesting” underwear. Host Andy Cohen asked where Kim had got the idea from, and if it was related to people getting Brazilian waxes. The reality TV star then adds that some are “regretting the laser,” and are “feeling nostalgic, and wanting something from a different era.”
She revealed that she got the idea from a photo shoot she’d previously done. She said: “I did a photo shoot with Nadia Lee Cohen for CR Magazine and Carine Roitfeld, and they had this whole idea of me to have like hair, a bush. And so they cut like extensions and they did this whole thing and we put it in my pantyhose and I’m wearing a skirt and I’m lifting it up in this photo shoot.”
The hairy thong also came up during Kim’s appearance on the Graham Norton show last week. The mogul revealed that the piece had sold out in 15 minutes. She also talked about the brand’s “face shapewear” on the show, saying “I just figured, a lot of women use shapewear for other body parts to hold it up, why wouldn’t you wanna hold up your face?”
