Nick Jonas ‘Jealous’ of Brother Joe Dominating Headlines — Source

Nick and Joe Jonas are back in the news — but the rumors point to a feud this time. Behind the scenes, tension is reportedly brewing as Joe’s single life pushes him to the center of the spotlight, and Nick isn’t happy about it, according to sources. Multiple insiders claim that the attention around Joe’s split and dating rumors has shifted the focus away from the band and onto one brother, stirring up rivalries.

Nick Jonas can’t stand Joe Jonas stealing spotlight with rumors, per source

Rob Shuter exclusively learned from insiders that Nick Jonas is not okay with rumors spotlighting Joe Jonas, leading to a feud between the brothers. A source told Shuter, “Nick can’t stand it.” They added that he likes “being the golden boy — the frontman, the one who gets the headlines. But now it’s all Joe, Joe, Joe.” The source said that Nick is not enjoying being overshadowed by his older brother’s nonstop tabloid coverage.

Another source close to the brothers put it more bluntly, “An old married man can’t compete with a single pop star partying in Paris.” The source continued, “Joe’s chaos is great for clicks — and terrible for Nick’s ego.” Joe’s visibility hasn’t slowed, thanks to constant chatter about where he’s going and who he’s with, and that noise is carrying over into band life.

According to a crew member, the Jonas brothers’ strain is showing offstage. The crew said, “They’re smiling on stage but it’s icy offstage,” adding, “Nick’s tired of Joe getting all the attention, and Joe’s loving every second of it.” The insider added that the mood in rehearsals reflects the feud, even as the brothers keep the show moving for fans.

All in all, Joe Jonas’ dating rumors are taking the attention away from the band, and Nick doesn’t like it, ultimately inspiring a feud between them. Even so, the brothers keep it professional in public, although, as one source put it, it’s “icy” once they are off the stage.
