The properties that the ex-couple has been eyeing are Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former house, and Adelaide Cottage, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s current residence before they relocate to Forest Lodge. However, according to a royal expert, Andrew and Ferguson’s demand for two homes shows that they have been living in a “fantasy world.”

King Charles will reportedly not agree to grant Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s demand to have two separate homes following their exit from their current mansion in Windsor Great Park. The Daily Mail recently reported that royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told them, “If they [Andrew and Ferguson] think that having two homes – which the King I’m sure won’t agree to – is likely to solve things.” He continued, “They’re still living in a rather weird fantasy world.”
The expert expressed his surprise at Ferguson for having “managed these comebacks,” but “there’s no comeback now.” He also went on to talk about why the palace should not agree to give Andrew and his ex-wife separate properties. Fitzwilliams stated, “There’s no reason at all that she should [have her own Crown Estate] home.” The expert continued, “This is an idea that Andrew has had to give up 30-room Royal Lodge. Well, let’s have two. I don’t see it working.”
Fitzwilliams then explained to the news outlet what might happen if their demands were to be granted, suggesting, “If it was adopted, there’d be outrage.” He noted that Ferguson has “not been a working royal since 1996,” the year she and Andrew divorced. Referencing the ex-couple, the royal expert remarked, “It doesn’t matter what she wants, she is getting out of touch with reality as he has so obviously been.”
