President Donald Trump has ruffled some feathers again. Although he claims to be pro-military, his previous behavior shows otherwise. Within the last few months, Trump has made several controversial comments. He has boasted that he wants to send the military to cities he views as crime-heavy and use them for training grounds. He has stationed the National Guard in various cities across the United States. Many believe that this use of the military is inappropriate.
Despite the controversies, he still claims to be the most pro-military president in United States history. He often engages in speaking events for and about the troops. While he may have some people on his side, his comments often rub people the wrong way, especially because he does not have his own experience serving the country.
Recently, he traveled abroad for a speaking event that left listeners uneasy.
Donald Trump made interesting comments to US troops in Japan

Donald Trump was on the USS George Washington on Tuesday, November 28, where he spoke to an audience of military members in Japan. He shared how much he loves the troops, but his comments had people viewing them as hypocritical.
“This is a special group of patriots, champions, winners. You are winners … I would love to have your job,” he told the audience. While the attendees at the event seemed pleased by the words he shared, people online were not happy with his comments. They were upset by the hypocritical nature of the words.
Saying he would love to have a job that he actively avoided rubbing people the wrong way. He has also called members of the military ‘losers,’ showing that he doesn’t respect the troops as much as he claimed he did that day in Japan.
