Sydney Sweeney is her own worst enemy at the moment at least that’s how the public sees it.
A series of minor missteps has apparently taken his celebrity status down a notch. The Euphoria actress ran a controversial great jeans campaign that didn’t go over well earlier this year. Her red Make Sixty Great Again hat, which she wore at her mother’s 60th birthday in 2022, didn’t help matters.
“If there’s one thing Hollywood excels at, it’s putting someone on a pedestal and then taking them down one shot at a time,” shares one insider.
While these may feel like minor mistakes, they have slightly tarnished her image.
Sydney Sweeney’s romance with Scooter Braun isn’t helping her

Sydney’s choices have hurt her publicly, and who she previously dated didn’t endear her anymore.
Taylor Swift’s army of Swifties ripped into Sydney mercilessly for going on a few dates with the pop star’s former manager, Scooter Braun.
“Fans still hate Scooter, and now they hate Sydney with a passion,” an insider tells RadarOnline. While she has not endeared herself to the public eye, the hatred towards Sydney appears rather harsh. “It’s terribly unfair to Sydney. It’s all been a series of innocent blunders,” said the insider.
Earlier this week, Sydney said she was seeking some freedom from acting. That might not be something she gets anytime soon, as she’s lined up for numerous big projects. Season three of Euphoria is just around the corner, set for release in the spring of 2026.
In addition, she’ll be part of the movie Christy, a sports drama about Christy Martin’s rise to become America’s most well-known female boxer in the 1990s. The story deals with domestic abuse, among other things. The movie comes out in US theatres on November 7.
She’s also currently in production on The Devil Wears Prada 2, scheduled for release next year.
