Ariana Grande is going all out to promote her upcoming movie, “Wicked: For Good,” and it seems like even her hair plays a major role in the film’s promotions. After recently opting for method dressing for the ongoing promo tour, the singer-actor has transformed herself once again. And this time, instead of going for a new hairstyle, she went back to her original hair color. She revealed her new look on Instagram on Wednesday. The 32-year-old has once again gone brunette after almost three years of being blonde.

Ariana Grande is transforming herself in every way possible for the promotional tour for her upcoming musical fantasy, “Wicked: For Good,” changing up her hair to bring some interest to her looks. After opting for method dressing very recently, the singer-actor has now changed her hair color, going back to her roots after nearly three years of being blonde.

The star debuted her new look on Instagram on October 29. The mirror selfie, captioned ”it’s good to see me, isn’t it?,” shows her as a brunette. She even tagged her London-based colorist, Francesco De Chiara, who helped her perfect her new look. Moreover, the R.E.M. Beauty founder also tagged the rest of her glam squad: hairstylist Alyx Liu and MUA Michael Anthony.

This is the first time the Grammy winner has opted for chocolate brown hair since 2018. She had dyed her hair blonde for her role as Glinda in the two-part adaptation of the 2003 musical. And for the role in the movie, the artist not only dyed her hair, but also wore wigs often.

Revealing more about her hair transformation, her hair and makeup designer on set, Frances Hannon, told Allure there were a total of 3,500 wigs in the film. Of those, 12 were made for the actor. Moreover, to match the hair color, Grande had to have her brows dyed every 10 days.

The first installment in the series was released in November last year. The second part, “Wicked: For Good,” is scheduled to hit the theaters on November 21.
