Shortly after Katy Perry went official with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a source revealed why Perry fell for the politician after her split with Orlando Bloom. Here are all the interesting things the source revealed about Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s new romance.
Sources reveal details about Katy Perry after Orlando Bloom
The Daily Mail recently spoke to a source close to Katy Perry. The insider revealed several things about the new relationship between the pop star and the former Prime Minister, including Perry’s strong beliefs in astrology.
“She’s very into astrology,” the source said, “Katy said he is a solid guy and she loves that he is an earth sign, a Capricorn. She is a Scorpio, like a total typical Scorpio, so she is very driven and headstrong. So she likes having an earth sign as a boyfriend because it grounds her.” Interestingly, Orlando Bloom was also a Capricorn.
“Katy had been looking for a strong, older man to date who is also high profile,” the source added, “Justin is just the man for her. He fits her needs. She is thrilled.” Perry was also allegedly happy that Trudeau was not a musician or actor.
But sun sign is not the only thing Perry believes in. The source added, “Katy believes in past lives, and she thinks she and Justin may have intersected in some way in a past life. ‘Why not?'”
The insider also noted that despite the relationship being fairly new, Perry and Trudeau are very serious about each other. The source revealed that Perry would not have made the relationship public if it were not this serious. The source said, “Yes, it is a mega big deal with Justin. Katy is very in love with Justin…She wants him to meet her in Paris and Barcelona for her tour stops next month so they can have a romantic time when she’s not on stage.”
As things stand, it looks like Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are here for the long run. Fans are certainly thrilled about them.
