Kim Kardashian Thinks 1969 Moon Landing Was Fake

Kim Kardashian sparked debate in the latest episode of The Kardashians after revisiting one of history’s most famous events. The reality star discussed her belief that the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing “didn’t happen,” sharing her views with All’s Fair co-star Sarah Paulson during filming.

Kim Kardashian said during the October 30 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu that she believes NASA faked the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing.

While on the set of All’s Fair, she discussed the topic with her co-star Sarah Paulson, claiming, “I think it was fake.” Kardashian said she had been sending Paulson multiple clips and interviews, including ones with astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

The 45-year-old explained her reasoning, alleging that Aldrin had made contradictory comments over the years. “This girl says, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And [Aldrin] goes, ‘There was no scary moment, cause it didn’t happen,’” she told Paulson. She added, “He’s gotten old and now he slips up with comments like that. So I think it didn’t happen.”

Later, a producer asked Kardashian directly if she believed astronauts ever walked on the moon. She replied, “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake.” Kardashian referenced online videos and social media posts, saying, “I’ve seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says it all the time now, in interviews.”

She further questioned, “Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon — why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon have a different footprint than the photos. Why are there no stars?” When asked what she would say to those calling her “crazy,” Kardashian responded, “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok. See for yourself.”
