It looks like, with the holiday season coming up, Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, are in planning mode. But instead of going all out to celebrate the holidays, sources indicate the couple is planning a “low-key” celebration with their family members and loved ones around, as they prefer to keep things simple and normal when together.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce want to have ‘simplicity and normalcy together,’ per source
It seems like everyone else, Taylor Swift, and fiancé Travis Kelce are also gearing up for the holiday season. Many might be thinking the engaged couple would have extravagant plans for the coming days, as it will be their first holiday since getting engaged in August. But sources told Us Weekly that’s not the case.
The singer and the NFL player, in fact, want to have a small celebration with their family members. “It will be very low-key, family-centric and [won’t involve any] major travel,” the source revealed.
As per the insider, since both Swift and Kelce have “high-profile careers, it feels good to have simplicity and normalcy together.”
And it is a known fact that for the couple, their family comes first. Thus, they are reportedly planning to split their time with their respective families since Travis will be playing during the holiday seasons. The Chiefs will be playing at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving. Later, they will head back to Arrowhead Stadium for their Christmas Day game.
The “Kansas City Chiefs fits right in with her family, and Taylor adores [his mom] Donna. They talk all the time.” The couple “make sure to see both sides as often as they can. They are super family-oriented, and they have always loved that about one another.”
Echoing the same, another insider also added that after a whirlwind few years, the couple loves to relax and keep things normal when together. “Taylor and Travis are really chill.” “On a typical night in,” the love birds usually have dinner and figure out “what to stream. It’s very domestic and calm.”
