This happened as they appeared together at a Paris venue to celebrate the singer’s 41st birthday on October 25. The couple walked hand in hand, hinting they are indeed in a relationship. And to give a sneak peek into her celebrations and fashion look, the pop icon shared a picture carousel on Instagram on October 28. However, there was a catch.
The photo dump had the caption “Level 41.” The mom of one not only gave a behind-the-scenes look at the birthday festivities, but also made her relationship with the former Prime Minister of Canada Instagram official. The politician made a subtle cameo in the celebration video taken backstage after her Paris performance on October 24.
In the clip, the birthday girl is seen blowing out candles and clapping in her robotic outfit. She had her group of people, including Trudeau (in the last row).
Her social media post comes days after a Canadian political source told People that the couple is reportedly serious. “This relationship is already fairly serious and definitely moving in that direction”. The tipster further revealed that the singer and the politician “are very much a couple and have been seeing each other as often as possible.”
Even Perry’s source echoed the same, saying that Trudeau has “shown that he’s committed and really cares about spending time with her. It’s clear that he values the connection, and so does Katy.”
