Kendall Jenner has opened up about her struggles with Caitlyn Jenner. On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the model says that he chooses to “compartmentalize” the pair’s relationship, as they often don’t see eye to eye on things.
Kendall Jenner is left “frustrated” with Caitlyn’s “completely different views on things”
On the October 30 episode of The Kardashians, the family discusses the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. After Caitlyn insists her Malibu home is safe and says she has no plans to evacuate, Kendall reveals the pair are often at odds.
She says in a confessional: “I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my Dad in a way because I love her. She’s my dad. We have a good relationship. But sometimes I get frustrated with her with certain things because we just have completely different views on things.”
While they may not agree on things, Kendall says she doesn’t want to isolate Caitlyn. She explains: “Other than that, I always want to include her. I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family and I think that she gets lonely. You don’t ever want someone to be sad, especially your dad and someone you love and care about.”
Kendall didn’t specifically say if their differences of opinion were political. Caitlyn has been an outspoken supporter of the Republican Party, including endorsing Donald Trump in the past.
Her appearance on The Kardashians is the first time she has appeared on the new show, despite being a regular on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She was invited to appear as the family said goodbye to their home in Hidden Hills. It was the house featured on the previous reality TV show.
Caitlyn apparently isn’t the only special guest to feature on the show. Sources say Kris Jenner is eyeing up an appearance from none other than Meghan Markle.
