Sources have recently revealed that Buckingham Palace has announced Prince Andrew will be vacating his 30-bedroom residence, Royal Lodge. This move by the palace marks a major shift for the Duke of York. Following this, an expert revealed that Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who retain their royal titles, are expected to face a “deeply painful period.”
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters appeared distressed, says expert
According to The Mirror, Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Prince Andrew will relinquish his residence at Royal Lodge and his remaining royal privileges. The palace stated that King Charles has initiated proceedings to strip the former Duke of York of his remaining titles, meaning he will now be referred to as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The development marks the final stage of Andrew’s departure from formal royal duties and titles. The recent events have also drawn renewed public attention to his family, particularly his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Although Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters have retained their royal titles, sources indicate that the latest events have allegedly turned their lives upside down.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams described the current situation as “a deeply painful period” for the princesses. He further noted that both parents are likely to remain in “public disgrace” for the foreseeable future.
A body language expert, Judi James, analyzed Beatrice’s first public appearance following the allegations against her father, observing that she appeared to show signs of “some distress.” James said Beatrice’s expressions seemed to reflect “a stab of bravado” amid “unwanted attention,” despite her efforts to project calm and resilience.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward also commented that Beatrice has long been seen as a “daddy’s girl,” noting the situation is particularly difficult for her. Both Beatrice and Eugenie, however, are said to have maintained a “dignified silence,” focusing instead on raising their families, managing careers, and maintaining normalcy.
