Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been scared that she might be collateral damage in the Prince Andrew drama. King Charles’ brother has recently been stripped of his title and returned to his old designation — Mountbatten Windsor. He also has to leave his and his ex-wife, Ferguson’s, home, Royal Lodge, because of his controversies. While she has been a supportive companion despite their separation, things might have changed for her now. A source claimed that she has been “shaking” in fear and has been feeling “trapped.”
Sarah Ferguson’s all about ‘survival’ amid fears she’s collateral damage, says source
Sarah Ferguson has allegedly defended Andrew for a long time, but she has been worried due to the current situation. Reportedly, King Charles has taken back the “prince” title from his brother. The latter would seemingly leave Royal Lodge, where he has been staying with Ferguson and their kids for decades.
A source recently told Rob Shuter that the British author has been “shaking” with fear. “She knows the public won’t distinguish between his disgrace and her association,” they added. The two have been living together for a long time, but now she supposedly feels trapped.
According to the outlet, she has allegedly been facing a tough time dealing with the aftermath. From “tearful phone calls” to “shouting” battles, Fergie has been “terrified.” A London crisis manager claimed that she might be afraid of becoming the “collateral damage.” “This is about survival,” they added.
The 66-year-old seemed to have been looking for separate housing. Earlier, a report suggested that Andrew had demanded Frogmore Cottage as his new home. The mansion was a gift to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the late Queen Elizabeth II. Meanwhile, Ferguson has reportedly been eyeing Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Adelaide Cottage. The future king and queen will soon move to their “forever home,” i.e., Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park.
