Amid the couple’s alleged separation, the “Anyone But You” actor admitted a rumor about herself. Sweeney revealed that she had been living in a hotel for quite some time now.

Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino reportedly got engaged after dating for around four years. However, rumors of their separation began circulating earlier this year. The “Euphoria” star confirmed in an interview with The Times that they have broken up.
When asked if she was making plans for the wedding, Sweeney replied, “No.” The 28-year-old also revealed that she is single. She added that she is enjoying the process of learning more about herself and spending time with her friends.
While their separation rumors were confirmed, sources also alleged that they had been living separately for quite some time. The US Sun reportedly spotted Davino, a 42-year-old businessman, frequenting the Bel Air fixer-upper residence that the couple had bought. Meanwhile, the actor was allegedly living at a hotel.
Recently, Sweeney graced the red carpet of Variety’s Power of Women event (2025) in Los Angeles on October 29. The host of Access Hollywood told her that she is a “Covergirl tonight” and has “a lot to celebrate.” She asked the actor about her experience at the shoot for the cover. Sweeney replied, “It was such a quick shoot.” She added, “I was living here for a while at the top of this year, so I kind of feel like I’m back home.” Sweeney continued, “It’s kind of a homecoming!” confirming that she was indeed living in a hotel.
