The View Fans ‘Shocked’ Over Marjorie Taylor Greene Appearance Next Week

Fans of The View are reeling over Marjorie Taylor Greene being a guest on the popular ABC talk show next week. Host Whoopi Goldberg announced that the controversial and outspoken Republican representative from Georgia is slated to appear on the program on Tuesday, November 4, as part of the Hot Topics segment. This appearance comes amid a call from fellow panelist Joy Behar who said earlier this month that she wanted more Republicans to appear on the show but said they were too “scared” to come on the show, agreeing with Greene who talked about “how she finds Republican men afraid of powerful women.”

MTG is looking forward to her appearance on The View

In a post on X, Marjorie Taylor Greene confirmed her guest appearance on the show, writing “I look forward to joining the ladies on The View on Tuesday!”

The post comes paired with a video of Goldberg speaking about representatives remembering that they represent their constituents as the government shutdown continues. The EGOT-winning actress admitted that she doesn’t know if there’s much that they agree on, but she believes that they will agree that the shutdown “should not be affecting the American people.”

Fans of the show reacted to the announcement from The View on X with shock and excitement. “This is going to be the best ratings the show has had since Trump was on it,” one commenter wrote. Another responded, “what is going on? i’m shocked MTG would come on. i’m actually looking forward to hear the other side and what changed.”

However, other comments are more skeptical, particularly as the talk show is left-leaning. “Seems like hell has froze over,” one user wrote. “I agree with what she has said as of late. Still don’t trust her, something’s up.”

This upcoming guest appearance comes amid the show’s producers demanding “softer” content when it comes to criticizing President Trump.

Actress Cheryl Hines, the wife of RFK Jr., appeared on The View in mid-October but has expressed her frustration with the hosts.
