Words of appreciation from the most-subscribed YouTuber are sure to mean a lot to Speed.
MrBeast shares his thoughts on IShowSpeed’s content style
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), MrBeast gave away a tiny piece of advice to his fans, using Speed as an example. Praising his originality, the 27-year-old wrote of IShowSpeed, “It’s cool to see Speed getting so big off of his own style of content. Lots of YouTubers think the only way to succeed is to copy others.”
Donaldson began his YouTube journey in 2012, posting videos of himself playing games such as Minecraft, Pokémon, and Call of Duty. Over the years, as he amassed millions of subscribers, he eventually rose to become the most-subscribed YouTuber.
Giving away a tiny piece of advice, he added in his X post, “Next MrBeast won’t do what I do, next speed won’t do what he does. Find what content is true to you!” Referring to Speed’s IRL livestream content, the YouTuber praised the 20-year-old’s uniqueness.
Speed recently completed a 35-day tour of the United States, streaming live on YouTube and Twitch every single day. His most recent livestream featured him dressed as the Black Flash on Halloween, accompanied by his dad and brother, as he interacted with fans.
Similar to MrBeast, Speed started his streaming career by playing video games live on YouTube. His hilarious reactions and funny moments are what helped him rise to fame.
Speaking of MrBeast, he often acknowledges that his reign on YouTube will eventually come to an end. However, in preparation for maintaining his top spot even after his death, he previously revealed that he already has a lineup of videos scheduled for posthumous release. So while he does speak about the “next MrBeast,” Jimmy Donaldson seems nowhere near retiring from the YouTube game.
