Harrison Ford is genuinely concerned about Donald Trump’s stance regarding climate.
The actor is calling out the US President, who he believes doesn’t have any policies in place to handle that issue. “It scares the sh*t out of me. The ignorance, the hubris, the lies, the perfidy,” says Harrison about the President.
Climate change is something the Indiana Jones and Star Wars actor has long preached about.
The POTUS has many times gone against popular opinions about the environment and climate change, even calling the latter a con job before. He withdrew the US from the Paris Agreement for a second time earlier this year.
Harrison Ford wants climate crisis policies from President Trump

Harrison Ford doesn’t believe the President has any ideas on how to address the climate issues. The actor tells The Guardian that Trump “doesn’t have any policies, he has whims.”
Trump has made many environmental moves in his second term as President, though many have not gone over well. He has also dismantled climate and clean air protections, halted clean energy projects, and urged oil and gas companies to drill.
Harrison says he has been championing action on climate for years. He says that with Donald as President, the US has been “losing ground” with the fossil fuel domination vision. According to Harrison, “everything he (Donald) says is a lie.”
He’s discouraged by what he believes to be a lack of action on the climate front, and Harrison says action is necessary. According to him, political will and intellectual sophistication are essential to mitigate the issues associated with climate change.
Harrison adds that they are adaptive and inventive in helping to solve these issues, but there needs to be people in power with better policies in place. The actor was recently given a conservation leadership award at Chicago’s Field Museum last week. Back in September he said he felt “humilated” after his Emmy Award snub.
