For what it’s worth, Dance Moms was absolutely iconic. The dance routines and meme-worthy arguments will forever be ingrained in our brains. But, the series wasn’t just filled with pirouettes and conversations on who is on top of the pyramid.
Watching the series back, there were tons of shocking and disturbing scenes. And, a lot of the present-day controversy with the show revolves around the treatment of Nia Sioux. After years away from the spotlight, she is releasing her own memoir called Bottom of the Pyramid. In the novel, she exposes the good, the bad, and the ugly with her Dance Moms experience, including some riffs she experienced with her co-stars. Nonetheless, though, she is making it clear that she doesn’t have bad blood with everyone.
Which Dance Moms stars is Nia Sioux still friends with?

Ahead of her memoir’s release, Nia shared that there’s a few fellow Dance Moms alums she still talks to. Mainly, Chloé Lukasiak is a good friend of hers, and even helped with her book.
“I see Chloé quite a bit because she’s in New York. We’ll try and get together for a second. Chloé wrote the foreword for the book, which is really, really, really special,” she told E! News.
The former reality TV star also mentioned that there were other people from the show who recently showed their support.
“I’ve had a couple other cast members say that they were proud and excited for me. We have a very special bond. I’m friends with, still, a good amount of them.”
However, there must be some Dance Moms cast members that Nia’s not keen on communicating with. After all, she was one of the few OG stars who didn’t come to the 2024 reunion, and was tight-lipped on why. Maybe her book will connect the dots.
Dance Moms is available to stream on Lifetime.
