The mental state of Demi Lovato’s ex-fiancé is making headlines once again.
Max Ehrich has been put under psychiatric hold after reportedly displaying questionable behavior online. Some of his followers were apparently disturbed by some of his social media posts.
It isn’t the first time the actor has been held due to mental issues. Last month, he was arrested for domestic battery against an older woman.
That was later revealed to be be his mother Rhonda. His mom said he was abusing inhalants, with Max being put on the state’s 5150 hold due to his mental state.

It seems some fans believe Max needs help desperately. The former cast member of The Young and the Restless told TMZ that he was taken to a mental health facility in Southeast Florida on Saturday. There was concern from some of his Instagram posts that he was suffering a nervous breakdown.
A string of provocative photos and disturbing posts prompted some people online to alert police. When cops arrived at his parents’ home and spoke to Max, they reportedly determined that he needed further evaluation.
After his alleged abuse of his mother in October, the actor checked into a rehab centre. Max and Demi began dating in March 2020. Four months later, they were engaged, before ending things for good a couple month after that.
Following his domestic abuse arrest last month, Max was released on a $1,000 bond. In June, it was reported that he had joined the cast of the show The Bay. Earlier this year, he released a new single titled LAX.
Demi, meanwhile, is preparing for her It’s Not That Deep Tour in support of her ninth studio album.
