Millie Bobby Brown Interview Resurfaces With Awkward David Harbour Interaction Amid Bullying Claims

All eyes are on the Stranger Things cast … but not because the Season 5 premiere is just weeks away. Ahead of the final season premiering on Netflix, attention has turned to the off-screen lives of the actors, with Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour at the centre of the spotlight.

A past Millie Bobby Brown interview has raised eyebrows after recent David Harbour reports

To catch you up, it all started last month when Lily Allen released her first album in seven years. West End Girl tells the story of a marriage breakdown, and fans speculate it’s about her divorce from David. Although, notably, this hasn’t been confirmed or denied.

Just days after West End Girl debuted, a Mail on Sunday report claimed that Stranger Things star Millie had filed a bullying and harassment complaint against her co-star, David. “There were pages and pages of accusations,” the outlet claimed, adding: “The investigation went on for months.” The outcome of the alleged Netflix inquiry, and the nature of Millie’s supposed claims, remain unknown.

Since then, fans have paid extra attention to Millie and David. Most recently, a resurfaced interview hints there could have been tension underlying for a while. In a 2024 sit-down with MTV, Millie is asked whether David – who plays her adopted dad on Stranger Things – will officiate her wedding to Jake Bongiovi.

After initially giving a reluctant “yes” to the question, Millie laughed awkwardly and added: “I don’t know how I feel [about that].”

The actor then went on to suggest Matthew Modine for the officiant role instead. Like David, he plays her on-screen dad of sorts, and actually did end up officiating her May 2024 wedding ceremony.
