The former Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson was best known, outside of his humor, for his tattoos. Often, he would be seen on the show without a shirt on, which showed off his tattoos. He was covered. From his neck to his legs, he had a wide variety of art on his body.
While he was once proud to show off his tattoos, something switched a few years ago. He shared that he was in the process of removing many of his tattoos. The motivation to change his look came from sobriety. When he conquered his addiction, he wanted to make a change to his appearance. He felt like a fresh slate and wanted his body to represent that.
His arms, which were covered in tattoos, were nearly bare come early 2025. However, he is not getting rid of all of his tattoos. Some get to stay, and he opened up about which ones.
Pete Davidson is keeping his Hillary Clinton tattoo, among others

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pete set the record straight. Some meaningful tattoos will not be getting removed, and the reasons why may surprise you.
Of course, Pete will not be removing the tattoo dedicated to his mother. “I got all these tattoos, so my mom was like, ‘How come you’ve never gotten a ‘Mom’ tattoo?’” he said. “Now I have a tattoo that just says ‘MOMTATTOO.’ That one has to stay.”
Another tattoo that will be sticking around is dedicated to his father, who has passed away. Additionally, the comedian has a tattoo of his dad’s ID that will stay with him for the rest of his life. The other tattoo that’s staying? The one he has of Hillary Clinton.
On the tattoo removal process, Pete shared that it is brutal. He wants everyone in his life to make wise choices when it comes to permanent body art. Further, Pete shared that he has been filming the process and showing it to the young people in his family.
