New Kim Kardashian Show All’s Fair Earns Rare 0% Score: ‘This Is Unwatchable’

All’s Fair in TV criticism. Kim Kardashian’s new legal drama has been almost unanimously panned by critics. The show has been promoted to death in recent months, with it finally hitting screens yesterday. But now the reviews are in – and the critics aren’t holding back.

All’s Fair has a rare 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes following awful reviews

Despite a very healthy dose of promotion (how many times can Kim talk about that thong?), the show may be heading for flopsville. The main issue? It’s just … not … good.

Critics were forced to wait until the All’s Fair’s release to review it, as no preview screenings were offered – not usually a good sign. Now they’ve seen it, and the Ryan Murphy series has been branded “the worst drama ever.”

It has made one achievement though – making it on to the pretty rare 0% scoreboard on Rotten Tomatoes. No mean feat.

Among the many negative reviews was Lucy Mangen for the Guardian. She wrote: “I did not know it was still possible to make television this bad … But I was wrong. All’s Fair is terrible. Fascinatingly, incomprehensibly, existentially terrible.”

Variety’s Alison Herman wrote: “All’s Fair” is a clumsy, condescending take on rah-rah girlboss feminism, half-baked even by the standards of an overextended Murphy.”

The Times’ Ben Dowell said that Kim “must have quite a healthy ego yourself to star in what may well be the worst television drama ever made.” He continued, “Because All’s Fair (Disney+) is so bad, it’s not even enjoyably so.”

The Hulu drama follows a group of female divorce attorneys setting up their own practice in Los Angeles.

It has a pretty solid cast (Kim perhaps notwithstanding), including award winners Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close and Naomi Watts. But even eight-time Oscar nominee Glenn couldn’t save ill-fated show.
