Two years after separating, actors Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have settled their divorce. Tori listed the couple’s official date of separation as June 17, 2023, while Dean contended it was July 7, 2023.
Documents filed in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, on November 3 stated the divorce terms were signed off on late last month.

The co-host of the misSPELLING podcast filed for divorce on March 29 of last year. She asked for both spousal support and sole physical custody of the couple’s five children. Joint legal custody with Dean’s visitation rights of Liam, 18; Stella, 17; Hattie, 13; Finn, 13 and Beau, 8 would be determined at a future date.
Tori and Dean checked off in the court documents that they’ll submit a written statement that their divorce will be uncontested, according to People magazine. The documents state that the Beverly Hills 90210 star cited the reason for the split as irreconcilable differences. Tori requested spousal and child support, which has been “ordered.”
No details were included in the report about a prenuptial agreement or the couple’s properties.
After the divorce was made public, Tori spoke about it on her podcast’s debut. “I’ve never felt more alone. I don’t feel worth loving. That’s the truth. And that’s something that’s just in you, it’s not something I wanted or created. That starts when you’re young. [And changing it], that’s not easy to do … I don’t know if you can.”
Tori revealed she wanted to file for divorce for 15 years, but restrained herself to protect Dean and their kids. “We always say, ‘Hey, it made it 18 years. It shouldn’t have made it 18 years,” She said on the podcast. “And I think he would say the same thing if he and I had a real heart-to-heart. It would have been over a lot sooner.”
