Brad Pitt has reportedly demanded $35 million in damages from his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, amid their ongoing legal battle over Chateau Miraval. Miraval is a French winery that the two Hollywood celebrities purchased back when they were married.

Brad Pitt has reportedly made a major demand in ongoing court battle with Angelina Jolie

With their court case continuing to gain momentum, Brad Pitt has reportedly filed court documents on October 29 to battle Angelina Jolie’s opposition to presenting the private emails exchanged between her and her team. Us Weekly recently learned that the “Fight Club” actor allegedly wishes his ex-spouse to cough up $35 million in damages.

As per the news publication, he believes that these documents could give him support in building his case. Simultaneously, Jolie has alleged that these emails hold legal value and, thus, her ex-husband did not have any right to view them.

According to Us Weekly, the new documents had a letter from November 22, 2023, attached by Pitt, which the actor’s team received from the lawyers representing Jolie. The “Eternals” actor’s team allegedly wrote the documents they required Pitt to submit associated with the actor’s “claim of ongoing economic damages.”

Us Weekly further cited the letter by Jolie’s attorney, which stated, “We note that the burdensome nature of any production is a matter of [Pitt’s] own creation.” The lawyer then claimed that Pitt “is suing [Jolie] for $35 million in damages.” As such, the attorney further stated, “He has to incur the expense of producing the documents that will show (or not show) those damages.”

As the court battle between the two high-profile stars continues, neither Jolie nor Pitt has made any public comments on the matter yet.
