Of all of the chaotic seasons of Selling Sunset, Season 9 took the cake. It seemed like everyone had an axe to grind with each other. And unfortunately for Chrishell Stause, most of the riffs included her.
First and foremost, her friendship with ex-bestie Emma Hernan took a turn. Because Emma defended her controversial boyfriend Blake Davis, the two couldn’t move forward. On top of that, Chrishell got into a jaw-dropping argument with Nicole Young that fans will never forget. Needless to say, this season was a lot for Chrishell. So much so, that she is throwing in the towel.
Chrishell Stause is officially leaving Selling Sunset after Season 9
Chrishell recently confirmed in an interview that she is leaving Selling Sunset. This comes days after she teased her exit after filming the explosive Season 9 reunion.
“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health,” she told Bustle.
The reality TV star may still have a bone to pick with some of her ex colleagues. However, she did make it clear that she has no bad blood with the series itself.
“The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved.”
Well, there you have it. One of the last remaining OGs of the iconic show is leaving. In fact, the only original cast member outside of the brothers is Mary Bonnet.
Maybe if a few of the girls Chrishell is feuding with exit too, she will be down to return? After all, Nicole has already announced that she is moving to Nashville. Only time will tell.
